Full Term

My son is now apparently the size of a watermelon:

What being the size of a watermelon really means though is that we have technically reached “full term” (by most accounts anyway).  Which means the “little” peanut could make his appearance any day now.  Which of course does not mean that he actually will, especially considering how at today’s 37 week appointment and first internal exam our gracious doctor practically laughed at me (good naturedly) when I asked if anything yet was going on down there.  Willful to the end this child, just like his Papa.  Looks like we have three full weeks of waiting then…
